Wow! Your cosplay is amazing! Do you have any tips on making an Engineer cosplay? ;nn; I'm trying to make a BLU Engineer one myself. And I have lots of time ;u;
Any tips would be helpful :D

PS:
If you REALLY want to look like Engie, make-up and a good cap for making you bald is the key.
I'm female myself and have actually very long hair, but with the right tricks it's easy to fake. A good hat helps too.

First:
References, References, References.
Don't settle with something that looks "mostly" like what you are searching for, try to be as accurate as possible since with such simple outfits like the TF2 ones, accuracy really makes the difference.

Second:
Engie usually wears stuff a person in his profession wears too, so try to look at stores selling clothes etc. for working people.

Third:
Customizing. It's close to the first thing, since 90% of the time you might find something that is a good base, but not really perfect for what you are looking for.
The kneepads for example are bought, but the bands and base have been changed, I drilled more holes in and airbrushed them afterwards.
So don't just buy stuff and throw it together for a cosplay, buy stuff that is close to the real deal and customize it to look as close as possible in the end.

Four:
Even though you might strive for being as close as possible to the reference, you sometimes need to take in account cruel reality. Some things just won't look the same, no matter how hard you try, so you need to get a feeling what looks
a) good in reality
and
b) with your proportions.
If you are rather big or small, try to change the proportions of your costume in a way that looks good on you.

I think that's it.
Also: Don't rush, take your sweet time.

Wow those goggles are so perfect, I've been making my own engineer costly but I can't find any that are so fitting. Did you make them yourself or get them somewhere?
