Once in a while you just have to try out something new.
So when my father announced he had bought a pool I of course had to visit him...and bring a doll with me.

Say Hello to Roman, one of my most dearest dolls and characters.
He's one of the black chess pieces in my and ChocolateDecadence' story around a chess world, the black side and its figures belong to me.

Roman was raised in the secret city at the coast and always dreamt of having his own ship someday and leading it into war against the White Empire.
However, after his brother died he was supposed to be the General of the Bishops (in German the piece is called "Läufer" -> "Runner", and I stick to that one) and had to bury his dreams and also had to move to the capital city, far away from the sea.
But water still remained his element and he enjoys to swim as often as possible.

His eyes are marbles I actually found in a flower-shop (they were in a huge bowl, meant for decoration and such) and they shine like crazy! On portraits you can sometimes see the camera in them or other surroundings.

The face-up is done by me.
Sadly I'm not taking commissions outside of Europe due to crazy customs in Germany and ridiculous shipping costs

Also während des Wasserganges wusste ich nicht mehr wo vorn und hinten ist und sie war unmöglich zu stylen.
Danach habe ich sie kurz lufttrocknen lassen, sie geföhnt und dabei sanft gebürstet und nun schaut sie aus wie vorher :3

Ich war auch etwas besorgt da ich Fur noch nie nass gemacht habe, aber ich kann mit Sicherheit sagen das es die Wigs nicht stört :3

This picture is beautiful. I'm falling more and more in love with the pale tan... I want a oriental skin Hound, but those pale tan dolls are just so gorgeous!
