Bury me in armour
When I'm dead and hit the ground
My nerves are poles that unfroze
And if you love me, won't you let me know?

~~~
This shot is actually part of a shooting called "Violet Hill", inspired by the Coldplay song.
Since I had this character and had heard this song years ago I wanted to make this shooting come true. Of course, like always, it didn't work out like I imagined it but I'm still glad I was able to do this.
Hans was a soldier during the second World-War. After fighting in Belgium and other parts of Europe he was sent to Russia. After he had lost his other teammates and had to flee from the enemies he was left alone in the middle of nowhere.
He never returned from Russia.
The picture is beautiful. The snow on him looks amazing, and also the background is great. I love the contrast between his coat and the snow. But the story is so sad, poor boy. -Jiyool
Aaaw, thank you very much for the compliment! I adore your dolls (especially Yossarian and Nix), so that means a lot to me to hear that from you :'3
You are welcome! Thank you too! :')
I am most certainly the "military doll" lady... I think my count is up to 4 now... 5 if you include Lindbergh, though he is just a pilot, not military. ; )
I have, next to this guy, a paramedic/doctor (also German, also WWII)...and actually a few of my chess-pieces belong to the military too, since the fight between black and white is nothing like a big, eternal war. But since that is a fantasy setting I don't really count them XD
(And Lindbergh is such a cutie ;u;)
Oooh, sounds nice! I am hoping to get a 3rd LittleFee (to accompany Lindbergh and Elias) who will be an American WWII paratrooper medic. :') That's not anytime soon though, unfortunately!
